Class offers a series of anatomical puzzles in the form of choreographed and improvisational exercises. These exercises challenge movers to access authentic weight, momentum, and specific initiation points within their anatomy in order to achieve the intended movement pathways. We put all of these pieces together in a final, meditative phrase that relies on internal timing. Through this idea of anatomical puzzles, I hope to offer movers a chance to access both their physicality and their ability to remain mentally present. Together, we use our problem-solving brains to feel and focus on the current movement and the current moment.
