Instructors

Emily Duggins Ehling is a former RDC Company Dancer who is currently pursuing her MFA in Dance at Washington University in St. Louis. She is furthermore an prolific choreographer and independent artist. She primarily teachers modern and improvisation.

Emily Haussler is the Artistic and Executive Director of RESILIENCE Dance Company (RDC). She primarily teaches the Company's Ballet Class, in addition to occasional modern and improvisation classes. Her teaching philosophy focuses on cultivating joy, optimism, and functional technique.

Tayler Kinner teaches improvisation. She holds a BFA in Dance and a minor in Advertising & Marketing Communications from Webster University, and is currently the Artistic Director of Big Plate Dance in addition to working with Karlovsky and Company Dance. 

Abbi LeBaube is a Webster University graduate and a Company Dancer with RDC. She primarily teaches improvisation and modern. 

David Marchant is Professor of the Practice on faculty at Washington University in St. Louis, specializing in aesthetic theory, technique, composition and improvisation in the concert art of contemporary dance.

Omar Olivas is on dance faculty at SIUE and is a certified Countertechnique instructor. 

Emmi Small is a Company Dancer now in her third Season with RDC. She holds a BFA in Dance and BS in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Emmi primarily teaches Ballet and Contemporary, and is a STOTT certified Pilates Instructor.  

Ashlynn Woelbling is a Company Dancer with RDC. She trained with John Rokita, Tammy Rokita, and Nicole Whitesell in St. Louis before attending Point Park University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance and a minor in Business Management in 2020. Ashlynn teaches Jazz and Modern

Lindsay Hawkins is an artist, educator, and choreographer originally from Columbus, Indiana. She is currently a dance instructor at Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville and has worked with many local St. Louis dance organizations.

Jakki Kalogridis is a New Orleans based artist, in St. Louis as a choreographer for Jacob Henss's pace Station Residency. She kicks off our Master Class series on August 4th - read more about her and her work below!
